How to Find Fulfilling Work an inspiring book by Roman Krznaric

If you have been searching for the ideal career, this book - 'How to Find Fulfilling Work' - just might help you get there a little or even a lot sooner.

After spotting and borrowing the book from my local library, I quickly decided that this was one to have and to hold (so to speak), and I bought it (from a physical bookshop). It is not overly long, roughly - 160 pages.

The author, Roman Krznaric is a self described 'cultural thinker', a 'social philosopher' and 'founding faculty member' of 'The School of Life'.

The book, which was first published in 2012 by Macmillan, notes that 'The School of Life' (School) is dedicated to exploring life's big questions: eg How can we fulfil our potential? Can work be inspiring? Why does community matter? Can relationships last a lifetime?

The School's website describes itself as a global organisation dedicated to developing emotional intelligence.

The book has six chapters and some suggested homework.

I love Chapter 6 - How to Grow a Vocation.

Having read many books on the subject of career selection and advice, I heartily recommend this book to you as being both thought provoking and practical.

The book is available at good bookshops and online.

Enjoy.
